Liansin is one of the Sarawak’s largest rice distributors. From plant to plate, the journey starts with raw ingredients fine-picked by Liansin and packaged to be easily enjoyed by everyone. To gain a deeper understanding of the client’s business, we travelled to Kuching, Sarawak to witness the production process and to carry out a site visit as part of research. After multiple in-depth discussions with Liansin, we started the revolutionary project to completely overhaul Liansin from their logo, mascot, packaging, promotional materials, website design to motion graphics and radio advertising.
With over 17 years of experience, Liansin has a significant place in the hearts of many Sarawakians. Our challenge was to uplift Liansin’s established image and bring it forward into a modern era. Our team worked hard to transform and modernise Liansin’s image while preserving the core identity that would remain familiar to the audience.
We suggested Liansin that they should enhance and strengthen their brand image a.k.a rebranding. Through various case-studies and analysis, we showed the client how important a brand's image is and the type of impact they can create when they focus on it.
Liansin’s products are all infused with creativity. Inspired by Malaysia’s various cultures, we helped to revamp Liansin’s packaging, each with an illustration that tells its own story. For example, we designed a Chinese “lion dance” for Chinese New Year Festival, whereas the open house activity is designed for Hari Raya Festival.
After going through a major change in revamping Liansin's image, the brand's perception was uplifted which sets Liansin apart from all their competitors. With this change, Liansin is on track to forge ahead and continue it's claim of being one of Sarawak’s largest rice distributors.
